For those that I teach, you are probably aware that at the moment, my classroom pets are 5 catepillars! Their names are Longshore Drift, Sustainability, Slip-off Slope, Surface Run-off and Headward’s Erosion. A sad day in the Big Butterfly House…Day 14…
Day 21 – our first eviction… Longshore goes off on his travels… well tries to! We wish him luck in the big wide world…
Since evicting Longshore last Friday… Headwards Erosion has arrived. he is much more energetic and lively than Longshore Drift! He is excitedly flying around the butterfly farm, quite content and enjoying the flowers and sugar water provided (by instruction)… We will let Headward go out into the big wide world tomorrow as he seems the adventurous sort…
There is still one more butterfly to come… Surface Run-Off…!!
Yippee… Surface has surfaced!!! Absolutely beautiful… will record their eviction tomorrow… until then!

Well actually… some of the housemates have been quite active! Long shore drift has been the first to make his silk blanket. BUT… the week is not up until Wednesday!! Hopefully the other housemates have caught up… so it is not a double eviction. Unfortunately, slip-off slope is suffering abit of slumping…

Houston, we may have a problem! I think a caterpillar (or two) have gone to catepillar heaven… Sustainabilty is oozing black liquid and Slip-off Slope has not moved for 3 days and is covered in poo. Luckily Long-shore Drift and Surface Run-off are doing well and have passed this weeks task… but you will have to wait for the vid…. maybe a surprise eviction is in order…??!

have a tortoise !! my friends got a baby one and their so easy to look after the only thing you will need to do that might be tricky is to let it out for 15 mins everyday!! but apart from that they easy to look after!!
this are very funny video’s miss i love your voice on them! hehe. I think you have done very well with you pet’s and I really like the names! All my pets die fast so I tend not to have that many but they seem to be easy look after!
Yes Megan, there were REALLY easy… that is coming from someone who has never kept a fish longer than 24 hours, or hamsters longer than a few months. Butterflies were great – I recommend them. And you are helping conserve the species!

I think you shoud evict BEAR because it seems to me from what I have read that he’s never asleep lol so I think he shoud go home to his wife and kids and have a nice sleep and a take-away hehe
